The anatomy scan marks the halfway mark in this amazing journey. Little Anders wasn't as big of an exhibitionist as he was a few weeks ago. The ultrasound tech struggled to confirm he was a boy (as we had to pretend we did not already know the sex; apparently going to Virginia College is somewhat a liability...our bad! NOT!). But he finally moved a smidge and we saw all of his bits n' pieces.
She pretty much said he was perfect - which of course, we already knew! :) He is now measuring 4 days ahead and may turn out to be a big baby, surprise, surprise. His heartbeat is now at 155 and the dr./tech saw no abnormalities, which we are very thankful for. My blood pressure was perfect, as well as my urinalysis. I was a bit concerned about my weight gain, but she made no mention of it and it's quite obvious that all of the weight is going to my belly and the baby.
And to satisfy the cuteness craving:
This is the second time we've been told he's in an awkward position. Apparently, he likes being uncomfortable. Maybe that means he'll be able to sleep anywhere in the future. One can only hope...
By the size of his foot, I'd say he is definitely his father's child.
